Este tutorial salio de un trabajo en el que tuvo que explorar bastante como usar el modulo de Simplenews. Sobre tu primera duda, lo que quieres es que una vez se suscriba alguien a la lista de correo se redirija a un url diferente al que te da simplenews?la segunda duda no entiendo muy bien.
