Esta es una lista muy interesante de themes que sirven para empezar a desarrollar tu propio theme o mejor dicho empezar a armar un subtheme. 

Esta es de hecho una de las preguntas que se hacen muchos al iniciar con drupal ¿como diseño una plantilla? creo que uno de los caminos es esta lista de themas.
